Because of present day high cost of ****pping, I am directing this primarily
to those in Ontario.
For donation, only Canadian registered charitable organizations need
respond.
Some months ago I purchased the contents of a lab from Crown Assets
Disposal. I was interested only in certain items. The Bid Request was
all
or none.
I now have dozens of volumetric flasks, Erlenmeyer flasks, manual glass
pipettes, graduated cylinders, separation flasks, etc.. Many still in
original packaging.
These are surplus to my needs.
For example, I have over fifty 500 ml Erlenmeyer flasks.
The majority of the glassware is in excellent, or new, condition; the
remainer, in very good condition. There is no chipped glassware being
offered.
I am interested in donating any or all of these to any institution that
may
have a use for them in exchange for an official charitable donation
receipt.
The donation value to be mutually determined based on a fair market value.
I have recently entered into similar arrangements with certain public
Ontario universities for maps (I was until recently a map dealer).
All glassware is also available for sale to any interested individual, or
organization. It is my preference to donate as much as possible.
Mr. Menhennet mentioned that you might be interested in this offer, and
that
you would be willing to forward this information to your colleagues in the
chemistry teachers association.

P.S. In addition to the above, I have the following (and more) lab
equipment;
1 Perkin-Elmer Lambda 6 Photospectrometer
1 HPLC system complete
1 PCR system 9600 DNA replicator unit. I've had this one running through
pre-programmed cycles.
1 Perkin-Elmer Atomic Absorption Spectrometer Model 3100
2 high end lab desks/tables on wheels
I don't have room for the equipment.
My near term plans which included getting a house have changed
dramatically
in the last six months.
Ideally, I would like to team up with someone who has a place for the
equipment and would be interested in getting it operational with me.
I'm assuming that no school would be interested (insurance issues, etc.)
in
such an arrangement.
If anyone is interested, or knows someone who is interested, in finding a
home for any of this equipment, I would like to discuss as soon as
possible.
I must have a new home for the tables no later than Monday, June 2.
