Homothetic preferences and linear demand function in wealth

by Daniel Royer <daniel@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 6, 2008 at 09:13 AM

Can somebody point me to a proof that with homothetic preferences the
demand function is linear in wealth?
I have the one using the indirect utiliy function and Roy's theorem but
I 'm looking for a more "direct" one.

Daniel
