I heard in the recent news that the new Democrat administration via
executive order was going
to repeal the offshore drilling and repeal the prohibition of stem
cell research.
I would like to ask for a repeal of the permit of the TransCanada
pipeline of tar sands in that
refining Canadian tar sands wastes 30,000 barrels of oil per every
400,000 barrels refined
and thus increasing air pollution by 30,000 barrels every day when
that could be avoided
by simply refining all up in Canada near the tar sand mine.
So that extravagant waste of 30,000 barrels each and every day that
increases Global Warming
should be taxed for the waste that it is.
The only reason for the scramble to pipe tar sands into the USA is
because the Bush administration
never cared one cent about the world environment but cared everything
about oil companies making
money by dirtying the world environment.
So I kindly ask for the new Obama administration to repeal by
executive order all of the TransCanada
pipelines or to tax them for the increasing air pollution that never
should have been.
