Everyone,
I am now surveying the landscape (world-wide) of research, development
and
commercialization of algae-derived hydrocarbon products (such as
biodiesel). I'm trying to
piece together a "who's who" and "what's what" -- in essence, "coming
up to speed."
Thus, I'd like to know the many players, organizations (university,
cor****ate, government and
non-profit), forums, online compendia, blogs, associations,
publications (books and journals),
symposia, and consultants that have some kind of focus in algae-
derived fuels.
Your feedback is requested. This includes pointers to various online
compendia and
resources which will help me complete my survey. Of course, I'm also
looking for references
to individuals who have extensive knowledge of the landscape and who I
may contact.
Of course, I'd also like to know what are the main challenges, if any,
which need solving in
order to make algae-derived biodiesel commercially viable.
