Hey all, I'm in final year at uni for a chemical engineering degree,
and am working on a major project. My project involves the design and
optimization of recycling plant, turning about 100 tonnes per day of
waste paper into newsprint, and my section involves the papermaking
sections, and finding specifications and details about installing or
fabricating an appropriate fourdrinier machine.
Is there anyone here with any experience with these latter stages of
pulp processing ? I'm just looking to find any major obstacles to
installing such a machine, and trying to figure out how much manpower
and maintenance may be required. I'm also seeking information about
any sizing/retention aids that may be added.
I'd be so grateful to anyone who could give any pointers or advice at
all to get me started with this..
