Dukler's Constant Slip in Two Phase Flow Pressure Drop

by Frank <FRBChemE@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 18, 2008 at 05:39 PM

The use of Dukler's Constant Slip method in calculating Two Phase flow
pressure drop has been limited because the procedure to calculate Rl
=1-Rg, the Liquid phase holdup is and iterative procedure. Question:
Has any one realized that Microsoft Excel can be made to iterate until
Rl is calculated?

I am experimenting with several two phase correlations for pressure
drop on Excel spreadsheets. I may need some help. Not much has been
published lately that is of use to the design engineer.
