Measurement difference paper sample / textile sample

by "Bob" <nospam@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 26, 2008 at 01:19 PM

Hello,

If I measure a color patches printed on paper, and a textile color sample
perceptually identical, even with a high quality 8° sphere
spectrophotmeter
(like Datacolor 600), I will get very different measurements.

Does anyone know if some standard conversion formulas exist, or have ideas
to help me to correlate paper measurements with textile measurements?

Thank you very much in advance.

Bob
