3D- LUT White balance

by aelove9@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sep 19, 2008 at 02:38 PM

Hi all,
Do you know papers reviewing the methods for white balancing? I am
developing a model and in which I need to correct the white point of
the monitors (LCD) in software: move the native white point to some
desired white points such as D65. I hear somewhere that people now
often use 3-D LUT for white balancing instead of convert data to some
space (XYZ, LMS) and then multiplying with a diagonal matrix. Is it
true?

Thanks
