Question about SAR focusing

by "Andreas Schwarz" <google@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 15, 2007 at 10:14 AM

Hello,

could anyone please tell me whether I have understood this correctly?

Focusing means correlation with the Azimuth reference functions. The
reference functions depend on the Range, because the doppler ****ft
depends on the range. A higher Depth of Focus means using more
reference functions. Unfocused processing means that only one
reference function (that corresponds to a low pass filter) is used.

Thanks
Andreas
