He has an interesting observation - that there seems to be a localized
failure of the gravity (central) columns - at every third story -
which is where the columns were welded up. He notes that the gravity
columns seem to collapse first by observing the initial drop of the
antenna tower. This is what you would expect, certainly.
The curtain/surface columns were specified for wind loads.
His conclusion about explosives placed from the elevator shaft,
reminds me that in carbon fiber aircraft spars, an overstress failure
is often seen to produce explosive shattering of the material -
sometimes to dust. This sabotage via explosives is a suspect
conclusion, to my mind.
