OK, I use a "mobility scooter" to get around. (Ya' know... those
scooters old people use?
Anyway, I'm moving from the city to the country, and the problem
is... I need to charge the scooter's batteries overnight. There's no
garage so we're gonna use a shed in the backyard. Well, it gets
pretty cold in the winter, and that's very bad for the batteries! So
I need to heat the shed somehow but when you charge batteries,
hydrogen is produced. I probably need vents near the roof of the shed
but I'm not sure how much ventilation. I donno what kind of heater is
safe for this job. How do I monitor things in the shed? I hear that
13 percent hydrogen in the air of an enclosed space will go BOOM! Can
anybody tell me how to do this safely?
This is a very large scooter, with 2 "group 27" deep cycle sealed gel
cell batteries. I really need help with this!
Thanx in advance for any information......! :)
