Who's funding the rebels? Who's arming them? I'd say that's the cause of
the 
whole conflict.
I'm thinking that S Ossetia and Abkhazia *originally agreed* with georgian

rule for the boundry to be drawn as such. When did that change and what 
influenced that change? Is there any resembence of the original S
Ossetians 
and Abkhazians Ideals and principles? or have they been decimated by the 
rebellion and whomever is funding them?

I can see the world accepting independence of S Ossetia and Abkhazia . But
i 
don't see it happening if russia is an occupying force of any kind in S 
Ossetia and Abkhazia. Then again the rebels will continue to attack
georgia 
provoking yet another conflict. Sounds like they have been unruly for
quite 
some time and it apparently makes no difference what the ruling government

is.
